Moraira ist ein altes spanisches Fischerdorf an der Costa Blanca, das zu einem Ferienort geworden ist. Moraira geh\u00f6rt zur Gemeinde Teulada, die zur Comarca Marina Alta geh\u00f6rt.<\/p>\n

Moraira liegt zwischen und an der wundersch\u00f6nen K\u00fcstenstra\u00dfe zwischen Calpe und Denia und hat ein paar Sandstr\u00e4nde. Die Playa L\u00b4Ampolla von ca. 1,5 km, wo Sie st\u00e4ndig den Felsen von Calpe, El Pe\u00f1\u00f3n de Ifach, im Auge behalten k\u00f6nnen. Und das kleine rustikale Platja del Portet, das sich im Norden der Stadt am Berghang des Cap d’Or versteckt. Im S\u00fcden liegt das relativ ruhige Platja Platgetes, wo nahe gelegene Felsen ein beliebter Ort zum Schnorcheln sind und das markante Bild Hombre mirando al mar von Toni Mar\u00ed Sart.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr ein kleines Dorf wie Moraira werden regelm\u00e4\u00dfig Partys organisiert und es finden h\u00e4ufig Veranstaltungen statt. Einige Nationalfeiertage werden etwas l\u00e4nger gefeiert, wie zum Beispiel der Dreik\u00f6nigstag am 5. Januar mit der Ankunft der drei Weisen und der Fronleichnam am 7. Juni mit Prozessionen.
