Oktoberfest Calpe 2018

The Calpe Beer Festival (Oktoberfest Calpe) will be taking place from Wednesday 24th October to Sunday 4th November 2018 and is said to be the largest and oldest in Spain. The festival tent will be located along Avenida Juan Carlos I, behind the Tennis Club, and will open at 18:00 every evening.

It is free to enter, but all food and drink must be paid for. There will be a day of rest, when the festival tent is closed on Wednesday the 1st November. The “Fiesta de la Cerveza” of Calp (Oktoberfest Calpe) is one of the most popular parties on the Costa Blanca and the most famous in Spain. It has been held in Calpe since 1987. An Oktoberfest on the edge of the beaches of the Costa Blanca and the performance of which is provided by the Club Carnaval Calpe. They started with this festival to raise money in an original way for the carnival in February. However, the Oktoberfest quickly grew into an incredible success, which has now become a fixture in Calpe.

The Oktoberfest in Calpe is said to be the largest and oldest German Beer Festival in Spain. There will be German music, traditional costume, food, many steins which hold 1 litre of beer and lots and lots and lots of beer! Over 10,000 people are expected to attend the festival.
